Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday attacked Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of Bangladesh’s interim government, saying he continues to violate the Constitution and human rights of people.
The members of the Awami League organised a protest at the Broken Chair in Geneva during the ongoing 60th Session of the UN Human Rights Council, to highlight alleged human rights violations in Bangladesh under the interim government, ANI reported.
During the protest, Hasina addressed the gathering via a phone call. “Since coming to power, Yunus-led government has continued to violate the constitution and human rights," she said.
