Anantnag : Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, said on Tuesday said that he would prefer to resign rather than allying with BJP for the restoration of statehood.
“At the time of government formation, I had two options before me, but I chose not to ally with the BJP,” said Omar Abdullah while addressing a public gathering at Achabal in Anantnag.
‘Have given representation to all regions’
Abdullah said the present government under the National Conference has ensured representation to all regions, adding that the Deputy Chief Minister hails from Jammu, reflecting the inclusive nature of his government.
