SRINAGAR : In order to improve traffic management and decongestion in the city, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, on Tuesday said that a meeting was earlier held to finalize a practical plan to decongest traffic in a scientific manner. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Talking to media, he said that traffic in a city like Srinagar cannot be decongested by taking just a few small steps. All line departments whether it is Traffic Police, Revenue, Roads and Building, SMC, LCMA, or SDA need to come together and prepare a joint action plan. “Not a vision, but a practical plan with short-term, mid-term, and long-term measures,” he said.
