A Tuckerton man on Monday admitted setting a Little Egg Harbor Township home on fire last year, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.

Thomas Lester, 21, pleaded guilty to aggravated arson and criminal mischief before Judge Dina M. Vicari.

The state will seek a term of three years in prison when he is sentenced Nov. 17, the Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday in a news release.

At 3:19 a.m. Jan. 8, 2024, Little Egg Harbor police and firefighters responded to a structure fire on National Union Boulevard. Investigators found that the fire originated in the living room of the home and that the fire was intentionally set.

Investigators eventually identified Lester and Ethan Salter, 20, of Little Egg Harbor, as the individuals who set the fire. The two were arrested March 7, 2024, at their
