EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) - Insulin and the effects of diabetes on the body was a topic of discussion in day two of an Evansville man's trial charged in the death of his 12-year-old daughter.

Brent Bredhold is charged with Neglect of a Dependent Causing Death due to his daughter, Alice, dying from what officials are calling complications from diabetes.

Prosecutors state Alice died from ketoacidosis, which is a condition that can develop when one's blood sugar is not constantly monitored.
