Police have launched an investigation after a man ran into a pub with his hand ‘cut clean off’.
The unnamed 18-year-old man is believed to have been attending an 18th birthday party at a house on Colin Close in Huyton, England on September 27.
Meyerside Police said officers were called to a nearby pub, The Stanley Arms, at 12.20am after reports that the young man had serious injuries.
According to the neighbours, it is believed the assault took place during the house party, which was directly across from the pub.
One witness said the victim’s hand was cut “clean off” when he rushed into the pub which was about to close, ECHO reported.
Another witness said the 18-year-old had “part of his arm hacked off” when he entered the pub.
The victim was taken to hospital and is now in a serio
