Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has shared a message with fans after being told a major boost away from the cobbles was 'so deserved', before she made a declaration to her co-star 'best friend'.

The actress, who is best known for playing Lisa Swain in the ITV soap, will be on a high after picking up two gongs at the 2025 Inside Soap Awards on Monday (September 29) night.

Vicky went home with the Best Actress award for her portrayal of the Weatherfield detective sergeant, beating Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater, EastEnders ), Beth Cordingly (Ruby Miligan, Emmerdale ) and Isabelle Smith (Frankie Osborne, Hollyoaks) to the accolade.

She was also recognised for Best Partnership alongside her on-screen partner Alison King, who plays Carla Connor on the cobbles.
