All eastbound lanes are blocked Sept. 30 on the Gene Snyder Freeway near National Turnpike in southern Jefferson County, according to a traffic advisory from Louisville Metro Emergency Services .

Traffic information from TRIMARC shows a three-vehicle crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. The roadway is currently estimated to remain closed for one hour.

There are injuries reported from the crash, MetroSafe supervisor Justin Bagby told The Courier Journal, but the extent is currently unknown. Louisville Metro Police is currently on scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
