The government is hours away from shutting down, unless Congress and the White House can come to an agreement on a continuing resolution that would fund the government through Nov. 21.

A vote in the Senate is scheduled Tuesday on funding legislation that Democrats have already rejected. It’s the last chance to keep the lights on before a midnight deadline.
