Another cool and breezy afternoon with showers along our beaches and coastal counties. Rain amounts have been light, with most areas receiving less than 0.25 inch so far today. Windy conditions will continue through the rest of the week. Limited showers are expected Wednesday, with scattered showers returning Thursday and rounds of rain expected on Friday.

Hurricane Imelda and Hurricane Humberto will send large waves our way, continuing the high risk of Rip Currents and High Surf. The Small Craft Advisory has been extended through Saturday evening. Minor Coastal Flooding will be possible through Friday.

Windy weather, especially along the beaches, as the northeasterly wind continues. The northeasterly wind will increase again this week with 20 mph sustained winds and gusts around 30 mph.
