That tops Philadelphia - renown for its world-class chefs and restauranteurs, and synonymous with the cheesesteak.

Philly is way down the list at number 32.

It may not be such a head-scratcher once you hear about the analysis.

WalletHub collected data on the cost of groceries and the affordability and accessibility of high-quality restaurants and food festivals, per capita.

Researchers were looking for cities that make delicious dining affordable for foodies who both enjoy dining out and who explore new flavors in their own kitchens.
