A spirit of hope for a better future was evident Tuesday, as hundreds of people wearing orange marched through downtown Wallaceburg in a show of solidarity for national Truth and Reconciliation Day.

The fourth annual healing walk, which started at the library and finished at Civic Square Park for a ceremony and speakers, was spearheaded by Walpole Island Employment and Training and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
