As the search for a missing six-year-old boy in the Crowsnest Pass continues into a second week, his mother has made a public plea for any information about her son’s whereabouts.

Darius Macdougall, from Lethbridge, was last seen the morning of Sunday, Sept. 21 while on a walk with young family members near a campsite at Island Lake Provincial Recreation Area. He was reported missing at 11:33 a.m. after family had searched for him for about an hour.

“As a mother who is very concerned about her child, I am pleading with my entire being if anyone knows or has seen anything, call the police, anything from Sept. 21 to now in the Crowsnest Pass area that could help,” Maegan Bernicky told Lethbridge’s Bridge City News on Monday.
