Josh Hartnett was briefly hospitalized following a car crash in Canada.
An SUV collided with a patrol vehicle in St. Johns, Newfoundland last Thursday around 1 a.m., according to a press release from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
“There was significant damage to both of the vehicles involved,” police said. “The 59-year-old male driver and the 47-year-old male passenger of the SUV were sent to hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries.”
The officer in the patrol car was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Hartnett, 47, was identified as the passenger on Monday, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported.
The “Trap” star was evaluated at the hospital, released and is “back to work,” his publicist said in a statement. The crash remains under investigation.
