We are just days from the release of Taylor Swift's new album with The Life Of A Showgirl dropping on October 3. Swifties in New York City — or those that were able to make the trip — got a sneak peak with Spotify's three-day immersive pop up experience for the album. The Life Of A Showgirl is Swift's twelfth studio album and one that the 14-time Grammy winner announced on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce back in early August.
At the Spotify event, fans started putting pieces together of scattered Easter eggs for the album, including some potential lyrics.
One account, Taylor Swift Updates, shared a picture of a sentence scrawled onto a mirror. "Oftentimes it doesn't feel so glamorous to be me," the lyrics read.
It can't be confirmed yet what song the phrase belongs to — although one savvy Swiftie searched the lyrics in Spotify and got back a hit for the track "Elizabeth Taylor" — but it's exciting to start getting more and more hints as to what to expect Friday.
