SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Springfield Thunderbirds preparing for the upcoming season as players began returning to training camp Tuesday.

Of the 33 players suiting up for practice, there are 17 returning Thunderbirds including captain and T-Birds all-time leading scorer Matthew Peca. He’s just one point away from becoming the first t-bird to eclipse 200 points with the club.
