A Toronto man with an interest in the Grand Erie District School Board says he received a bizarre legal directive from the board's lawyers, insisting he provide them private information and get himself a lawyer.

A Toronto man with an interest in the Grand Erie District School Board says he received a bizarre legal directive from the board’s lawyers, insisting he provide them private information and get himself a lawyer.

“They just unilaterally sent me a letter claiming confidentiality,” said lawyer and activist Michael Teper, “telling me I can’t disclose what they sent me.”

“Nuts to you.”

The letter, labelled in large, bold letters “Strictly private & confidential” and “Not for Public Distribution”, was shared with The Expositor by Teper last week.
