Bhubaneswar: The low-pressure area over westcentral Bay of Bengal became well marked on Wednesday morning.
The system is likely to move northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal by October 2 morning and cross south Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts in the morning hours of October 3, the India Meteorological department (IMD) said in a morning bulletin. The low pressure had formed at around 5.30 pm on Tuesday under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over eastcentral Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood.
