Nicole Kidman has filed for divorce from her husband of almost 20 years, Keith Urban .

Earlier this week, it was first reported by TMZ that Nicole and Keith had been living separately “since the beginning of summer”.

Following this, outlets including The Independent , Variety and BBC News verified the rumours, citing an undisclosed “source” who confirmed that the pair had separated.

On Tuesday, BBC News then reported that Nicole had filed for divorce at a court in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences as her reasoning.

HuffPost UK contacted Nicole Kidman’s team for comment on Tuesday but did not receive a response.
