CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The 44th annual Guthrie Wineglass Marathon is set for this weekend, bringing more than 6,500 runners from 48 states and 14 countries to the Twin Tiers.

The weekend begins Friday with the runners' expo at the Corning Museum of Glass. Saturday features the 5K , and Sunday is the main event with the half marathon starting in Campbell at 7:45 a.m. and the full marathon starting in Bath at 8:15 a.m. Both races finish on Market Street in Corning’s Gaffer District.

Runners can expect water stations, cheering sections, and a custom hand-blown glass medal at the finish line.
