Company, however, refutes allegation; says only a limited number of employees have been affected at its Pune office

New Delhi: India’s largest IT firm Tata Consultancy Services has allegedly forced around 2,500 employees in Pune to resign from their jobs, the IT employees’ body NITES said in a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister on Wednesday.

However, TCS said, only a limited number of employees have been affected by its recent initiative to realign skills in its organisation.

Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) president Harpreet Singh Saluja, in a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, sought timely intervention to protect the interests of the affected employees.
