Emergency services are responding to a report of a plant explosion in southwest Louisville, MetroSafe officials confirmed.
A MetroSafe spokesperson said dispatchers received a call for service in the 4400 block of Bells Lane around 11:27 a.m. Oct. 1.
The reported address is near Carbide Industries, which produces calcium carbide.
According to a message from LENSAlert, there is currently no danger to the public and no action is necessary.
