INDIANAPOLIS — Former All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard will return to Indianapolis to retire as the member of the Indianapolis Colts this weekend, the team announced Wednesday, Oct. 1.

The veteran of six NFL seasons, the first five-plus with the Colts, will make his retirement official during halftime of the team's Oct. 5 home game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

A three-time First Team All-Pro selection, Leonard was named to three Pro Bowls (2019-21), was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week four times and AFC Defensive Player of the Month once.

Leonard was picked by the Colts in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of South Carolina State. In 70 games (68 starts) with the Colts, he tallied 614 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, 12 interceptions and 17 forced fumbles.
