WASHINGTON — A truck driver involved in the Michigan crash that killed three members of TLC's "Meet the Putmans" family has officially been charged.

The Tuscola County Sheriff's Office told local media outlets that eight members of the Putman family were in a vehicle crossing into an intersection in Ellington Township, Michigan, when a semi-truck ran a stop sign, hitting their Jeep around 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26.

In social media posts, the family later revealed that "Papa" Bill Putman, his wife, Barb, who goes by Neenee, and their daughter-in-law Megan died in a "tragic car accident." The family shared that "Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia" were also hospitalized.
