HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — With a government shutdown now in effect, one may wonder how the changes will impact Redstone Arsenal and what will happen as a result of the shutdown.

The government officially went into a shutdown as of 12:01 a.m. Wednesday as Republican and Democratic proposals failed to pass in the Senate during the final hour of negotiations to keep the government funded .

As a result of the shutdown some services that are provided on Redstone Arsenal may be changing or may not be affected at all.
