Microsoft has announced an increase in the subscription price for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier. The company has revealed that the top-tier of Xbox Game Pass will now cost $29.99 per month, which is 50% more than the last price. The $10 price increase comes alongside several changes to the entire Game Pass subscription structure. The company is eliminating the Game Pass Core tier, which will be rolled into the Essential tier. Current Standard subscribers will be automatically upgraded to the Premium tier. However, the prices for the Essential and Premium plans will remain unchanged.
