Families in St. Clair now have a new way to enjoy reading outdoors, thanks to a permanent Storybook Walk installed at Klecha Park .
The St. Clair Rotary Club , with help from community friends, completed the project Sept. 27.
A Storybook Walk features pages from a children's picture book displayed on posts along a walking path. Families can read the story as they stroll through the park.
"The Storybook Walk is a perfect blend of our club's commitment to community, health and education," said Rotary Club President Ralph Livingston. "It's a great way for parents to connect with their children, foster a love for books from a young age and get some fresh air and exercise all at once."
