JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — Jasper County Sheriff's Office deputies and K9 Units captured a 45-year-old suspect Wednesday after being led on a foot chase.

According to the social media release, deputies attempted to stop Alvin Primus in the Stiney Road area of Hardeeville.

After fleeing and prompting a foot chase, where deputies used the K9's to track him, Primus was brought into custody.

It is unclear what Primus was arrested for. WSAV will update the story when more details are available.
