New Delhi: Kamaltai Gavai, mother of Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and veteran Ambedkarite leader Dr Kamal R Gavai, has clarified that she will not attend the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) cenetary programme scheduled in Amravati on October 5, citing health concerns and reaffirming her lifelong commitment to Ambedkarite thought.

Responding to this, Gavai issued a statement on October 2 dismissing the rumours. “Because of one programme, misconceptions about my work have caused me deep personal pain.
