The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will seemingly be without star running back Bucky Irving for an extended period of time.
On Monday, news emerged that Bucky Irving suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s 31-25 home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Bucs head coach Todd Bowles admitted that he was concerned about Irving, who recorded 63 rushing yards and five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately, it appears that Irving indeed suffered a serious injury that will likely sideline him for an extended period.
According to Greg Auman of Fox Sports, Bucky Irving had crutches and a walking boot on his left foot during Wednesday’s walkthrough practice. Auman notred the “focus” is on backup RBs Rachaad White and Sean Tucker for the Week 5 road tilt against the Seattle Seahawks.
