Capital market regulator SEBI has released the findings of a survey -- called 'Investor Survey 2025' -- to showcase data covering a host of aspects including financial awareness, risk tolerance and investor behaviour. What the regulator describes as "one of the largest household surveys of its kind" reveals several noteworthy findings based on a sample space of 90,000 households across 400 cities and 1,000 villages across the country.

The countrywide survey, conducted by UK-based market research and consulting company Kantar,

was commissioned by SEBI along with mutual fund industry body AMFI, stock exchanges BSE and NSE, and depositories NSDL and CDSL.
