Heading into week 7 of the Marion County high school football season we have to start considering players for postseason awards. There’s plenty of time for predictions to change but we’re looking at the numbers as if play stopped today.

Below are 10 players who are having standout seasons on the gridiron. The list includes four running backs, three wide receivers, a defensive back, a defensive end and a quarterback.

We’ve parsed through the box scores and film for you. Now we’re asking you to choose who you think will be player of the year when the final snap of the season happens. Voting will be open until Monday October, 6 at 7 PM.
