Ian Alonso and Carter Oakenfold scored two goals each in leading West Kelowna Warriors to a 5-3 win over Vernon Vi-pers in BCHL junior hockey action, Tuesday at Royal LePage Place.
Oakenfold scored the game winner at 19:49 in the second period to give the Warriors a 4-3 lead. He replied at 19:52 of the third period with an empty net goal, which was also shorthanded.
Rusian Jamaldinov scored the other goal for the Warriors.
Toms Trockis, Tyler Chiovetti and Michael Munroe replied for the Vipers.
Angelo Zol was the winning goalie with 21 saves. Brendan Gee stopped 23 shots for Vernon.
The Warriors head to Alberta this weekend for games against Blackfalds and Okotoks.
The Vipers are home Friday and Saturday to Sherwood Park.
