CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The City of Ludlow hosted a groundbreaking Wednesday for Phase Two of the Riverwalk at Riverfront Commons, according to officials.

The groundbreaking marks the continued construction of an 11.5 to 20-mile multi-use path along the Ohio River connecting communities from Bromley to Fort Thomas and Silver Grove, the Ludlow Mayor Sarah Thompson said in a post.

A press release from city partners stated that phase two will extend the Riverwalk through Ludlow as part of the larger project to create a riverfront district, led by Southbank Partners.
