FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after a 76-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries in a hit-and-run on Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to the scene around 1 p.m. for a reported motor vehicle collision on Plainville Avenue.
According to police, the vehicle fled the scene southbound and was described as a white box truck with no known markings.
The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital.
Farmington police are actively investigating the incident, and no further information is available at this time.
