KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - For the first time in two years, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
The National Football League announced Wednesday that Mahomes’ four-touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4 helped him win the award for the first time since Week 12 of the 2023 season.
The 30-year-old quarterback connected on touchdowns with Juju Smith-Schuster, Isiah Pacheco, Tyquan Thornton and Hollywood Brown to help the Chiefs dominate the Ravens.
In Kansas City’s 37-20 victory over Baltimore, Mahomes completed 25 of 37 attempts for 270 yards and the aforementioned four touchdowns. His play helped him win the award for the 11th time in his career.
