NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Fall festivities at Governors Island are back.

The free family-friendly pumpkin patch in Nolan Park returns just in time for Halloween in New York City.

Pumpkin Point, one of New York's most unique pumpkin patches, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Pumpkin Point doesn't only transform into a sea of orange spheres. Along with the pumpkins, trick-or-treating, music and crafts are all opportunities that can be enjoyed.

Costumes are encouraged for trick-or-treating! There are also fall foliage tours, along with fall-themed food and drinks.

Organizers kindly request that you bring your own tote or reusable bag to carry your pumpkins. Pumpkins are limited, so they ask you to limit to one pumpkin per person.
