Doctors at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in a news conference Wednesday detailed the aftermath of the Grand Blanc Township shooting as they raced to care for the wounded after Sunday's attack , which left four dead and eight injured .

The doctors said a medical resident inside the church called the hospital, explaining that there had been a shooter in their church.

One physician, Dr. Christopher Ash, said, "This type of stuff doesn't happen in Grand Blanc, Michigan."
