Heavy law enforcement presence on Fort Hood as authorities search for theft suspect

FORT HOOD, Texas — There is a heavy law enforcement presence on Fort Hood as authorities search for a theft suspect, the post has announced.

According to Fort Hood, the law enforcement presence is in the wooded area north of Tank Destroyer Boulevard, Clear Creek, Motor Pool Road and Legends Way.

Authorities are reportedly searching for a suspect they say was involved in a theft of property from the Clear Creek PX.

Fort Hood described the suspect as a Black male, 5'4", last seen wearing a tan T-shirt with OCP pants.

Fort Hood urged people to use caution in the area and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement by calling either 911 or 254-288-1170.
