ELDORADO, Ill. (WSIL) -- Sol Systems has announced its largest project to date, the 342MW Eldorado Solar project in southeastern Illinois. The project, built in partnership with Nextracker and SOLV Energy, includes a pioneering agrivoltaics initiative.

The initiative involves a collaboration with the American Farmland Trust to plant Kernza, a perennial grain, beneath the solar panels. This approach seeks to demonstrate how solar and agriculture can coexist and thrive.
