LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNW) -- Live grenades were discovered Tuesday in a Nebraska home.

The grenades were discovered Tuesday morning by a relative of an elderly person while they were cleaning out their home in Lincoln. The Nebraska State Patrol reports that its bomb squad responded to the scene, along with the Nebraska Air National Guard's 155th Explosive Ordinance Team.

Using a portable X-ray device, they determined that two of the four grenades were still live. All four were removed from the home and taken to a designated site for disposal.
