Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is finally developing his zombie apocalypse comic, Afterlife with Archie, as a live-action hour-long series drama with Disney+.

It is unknown if the cast of Riverdale will reprise their roles or different actors will play the parts of Archie and the gang.

Afterlife with Archie is about the zombie apocalypse in the town of Riverdale and how it affects the characters of the Archie Comics world. The comic infamously never finished but will now seem to finally get a conclusion as RAS commented that he's also resurrecting the comic.
