CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) -- Tortured poets, lovers, and showgirls, this one's for you: Taylor Swift’s album, “The Life of a Showgirl" comes out at 12 a.m. on Oct. 3. And, Champaign's Target is one of just a handful of stores in the state that will remain open for the midnight release.

“The Life of a Showgirl" is Swift's 12th studio album. Nine Target stores in Illinois were chosen to remain open past normal closing time to allow fans to purchase exclusive vinyl and CD editions that are only available at Target.

The Target team said there are a couple of things fans need to know ahead of the release.
