The Town of Bracebridge welcomed the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Muskoka Lumber Arena today, where players took to the ice for a special community practice in front of an enthusiastic crowd of local students.
Over 900 people attended the practice, including students from Muskoka Falls Public School, Bracebridge Public School and Monsignor Michael O’Leary Catholic School, as well as players from South Muskoka Minor Hockey and St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School hockey team. The arena was filled with excitement as students cheered on their hockey heroes, waving their homemade signs and enjoying the rare opportunity to see NHL athletes up close.
