The National Weather Service released a frost advisory at noon on Wednesday valid for Thursday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre and Northern Lycoming as well as Cameron and Clearfield counties.

The weather service adds to anticipate, "Temperatures as low as 34 degrees will result in frost formation."

"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," explains the weather service. "Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Near-ground freezing temperatures could kill uncovered sensitive outdoor vegetation."
