President Donald Trump’s approval rating among Republicans dropped slightly in a new poll.
The new Marquette Law School poll , released Wednesday, showed that Trump’s approval rating has remained strong among Republicans. However, support from his party has dropped an average of 8 percentage points since January.
The poll showed that 81% of Republicans approved of how Trump was handling his job, while 19% disapproved.
This gives Trump a net positive approval rating of 62 percentage points among Republicans in the September poll, which is down from the net positive approval rating of 72 percentage points he had among Republicans in the July poll. In July, 86% of Republicans approved of Trump and 14% disapproved.
