BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Hall Ambulance welcomed 12 new emergency medical technicians at its 50th class graduation on Wednesday.
The graduates walked the stage in downtown Bakersfield with over 100 family members, alumni and community leaders in attendance.
The recruits underwent training for the past 10 weeks to prepare for their national exam and the 12 graduates all passed on their first attempt.
They will now spend five weeks training in the field.
"I would advise anybody who's looking for a job or who wants to change their career, EMT is the best field to go," Vanish Sagar, a Hall EMT Academy graduate, said. "You can later become a paramedic. Here in Hall's Academy, they'll pay for the class too, and they will pay you for attending the class. So you don't have to pay for anyt
