What to know: Vancouver-headquartered footwear brand Native Shoes has teamed up with Italy’s Vibram to offer the ultimate fall boot update.

The collaboration sees the company’s original Fitzsimmons style, a rugged-soled, lace up boot style originally launched 15 years ago, given a functional reboot.

“Native Shoes and Vibram have had conversations throughout the years, keeping in touch for when the right opportunity would come up,” says Gabe Lam, a lead designer at Native. “When we started discussing how we wanted to update the Fitzsimmons for 2024, it was an opportunity we had been waiting for to finally collaborate together.”
