CHARLES CITY, Va. (WWBT) - Authorities in Charles City County are asking for help in finding a man wanted on multiple felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder.

Ernest L. Jones, 42, is accused of assaulting and attempting to strangle a female companion in the Wayside area of Charles City County on Tuesday night, according to the Charles City County Sheriff’s Office.

Jones faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, felony domestic assault and felony strangulation.
