COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Air Force is getting ready to head to Maryland to face Navy in the first game of the Commander-in-Chief Trophy race.

Air Force vs. Navy starts with the battle to get the Commander-in-Chief trophy back here at the Academy, and for the Falcons, that’s their priority.

“Our goal to start the season is to win the CIC,” Air Force linebacker Luke Fisher said. “The CIC is always number one on our list.”

“This one’s huge, especially in this situation that we are in right now,” Air Force wideout Cade Harris said. “We need to win bad, and to get that over a good Navy team this week would be huge, especially moving forward as a team and for CIC trophy standpoint.”
